Examples of our work

NHS Dorset Learning Disability register, health check and action plan initiative

Working with the NHS commissioner we created a consortium of strategic stake holders, and used insight and research to create a local narrative. We then coproduced a campaign and suite of resources for primary care practitioners, secondary care paediatricians, schools, parents, and young people. Impact has been more young people are engaged with primary care settings which is addressing health inequalities.

National school SEND data analysis and resource production

After listening to the national schools inclusion network we understood a simple way of interpreting school SEND Census data was needed to help each county target provision and resources. Analysis of the data has helped every county in England engage more schools and more SEND young people in activities.

County Strategic advise and support

Working strategically within 5 different counties to improve communication, discover a common purpose and vision, and improve outcomes for everyone. We use a tested approach to enable every stakeholders view point to be embedded, and ensure commonality is found and enacted upon.

Public Health England disability and alternative provider project management

Working strategically together we used school SEND census data to identify schools and alternative providers who would be interested in working with us. Those organisations then used pupil voice to co-produce ideas and activities that were embedded in schools and community groups. This work was then upscaled and shared more widely to increase impact.

Dorset Inclusive School Games strategic and operational support

Throughout each year we work with the county team to think differently, use insights, listen to the least active young people, and adapt activities and leadership opportunities to be more inclusive. More young people than ever from different backgrounds and abilities are accessing opportunities with clear intent and community exit routes.
